Behold I Am Doing a New Thing!

“See the former things have taken place, and the new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you” Isaiah 42:9 Gold dust and oil appeared on this woman's hands! Throughout the course of history, there have been many times and seasons when God allows His Bride to experience manifestations of His Glory in a mind boggling way!  How unfortunate that now, in our present day, we have become critical and suspicious of things of the Spirit that we cannot fathom with our un-renewed minds.    “Therefore I urge you brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.   Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.   Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will”.   Romans 12: 1  - 2

Letting Go and Letting God – Happy New Year 2012

Recently I have been studying the account of Elijah, who declared there would be no dew or rain for the next few years. (Reference 1 st Kings Chapter 17)  As the prophesied drought began, the Lord guided Elijah to the Kerith Valley and provided a brook for water and ravens to bring food to him morning and evening.   Temporary provision was available for Elijah in this season of drought. However, one day the ravens stopped bringing food and the brook dried up.  Why, I wondered?  And then it came to me… What an excellent example of how God will supply provision for us, even if only for a season. God knows the plans He has for us, and by drying up the brook and stopping the ravens from delivering food every morning and evening, Elijah had no choice but to move on. Notice how the Lord gave him further instructions on the process to the next level. “Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to s...

Beijing, Seoul and Beyond December 2011

Asia – a great place to see healings and be healed!  I left for China and S. Korea emotionally and physically drained and wondering if my decision to go was a wise one.  Sadly, we had just buried my father and I found myself not only grieving but also battling severe vertigo.  The 12 hour flight to Beijing allowed me uninterrupted time to reflect on the life and loss of my earthly father, and also pray for stamina to handle the hectic schedule of the next three weeks! How could I have forgotten that His strength is made perfect in my weakness? But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.  The New International Version. 2011 (2 Co 12:9)

What on Earth is Going On?

Approximately 3 years ago I was awoken in the middle of the night by the audible voice of God!  The words that I heard were “I am taking my Church from Hibernation into Acceleration”.  I held those words in my spirit and thought on them many times, eventually producing a painting, which closely represented how those words felt to me.

"And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25) Over the past seven years, I have had the privilege of ministering in many cities in S. Korea; in traditional Churches, at YWAM bases, in coffee shops, restaurants and Retreat Centres, but more recently I have had several invitations to visit ‘house churches’.  And the first three days of this trip were spent enjoying the Presence of Holy Spirit and one another in the house church setting. It is in these more intimate settings that we have the time and opportunity to listen to one another, to ask hard questions and to share more deeply.

On the Road Again

June, 2011  My flights to South Korea have now become very routine to me, and as familiar as driving from Kelowna to Penticton!    I know the names of the Captains and the flight attendants and the seating arrangements and flight schedules by memory.  I know that if I choose a seat by an exit door to accommodate my height, I will be very cold, but on the upside I will have room to fully extend my legs.
