Don't give up....it's not too late!

Mathew 10:8 And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' 8"Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

Many awesome signs and wonders are taking place in gatherings in South Korea this week!  While in absolute awe of what Holy Spirit is orchestrating in this nation, at the same time I am saddened that many believers in the West have not yet embraced the anointing available to them, to heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead (spiritually, emotionally or physically) and do miracles with signs and wonders following.

Perhaps we have lost our first love, perhaps disappointment has quenched our passion, perhaps we have lost sight of our purpose, and we find ourselves left with nothing but a lacklustre and powerless religious tradition.  It's not too late....NOW is the time....to worship Jesus and do as He has commanded!  Now is the time to give away, what he paid for...freely received and freely given!  When we look at the healing ministry of Jesus, we must recognize the vital connection we have with it: We are His Body on earth today.  Therefore we must exhibit the same passion for healing that we have observed in Him.  He healed: by the Word; by the faith of the sick; to release service; to restore life; to deliver from demons; though the faith of others besides the sick; through the faith of the desperate and persistent and to reveal the heart of God. As His body, are we not compelled to release His healing power to our generation as well?

Personally, I am so grateful for the teachings of John Wimber, founder of the Vineyard Movement and my first mentor in these things. I'm also grateful for Bill and Beni Johnson and the leadership at Bethel Church, Redding in California who have been forerunners in advancing the Kingdom of God as we are exhorted in Mathew 10:8.   I am grateful for ministry friends that are pushing forward, taking great risks, standing firm, and preaching Kingdom!   Long time friends and Kingdom Advancers like Galen and Danette Gingerich and team at New Horizons Church in McMinville, Oregon; Dave and Cheryl Bryan and team at Glad Tidings Church in Yuba City, California; like Franklyn and Deanne Elliot and Healing Rooms teams throughout Australia; like Bob and Sue Brasset and teams on the streets of Victoria, B.C. and like Fili and Pam Tualaulelei in Honolulu Hawaii operating Tribal Edge Clothing.

And for any of us that ignore this anointing, isn't it about time to fix that?  Repentance might be in order...just saying:)
