Gord and Jan Whyte in collaboration with Don and Karen Leblanc, owners of Eagle's Nest Retreat in Westbridge, invite you to join us for a "Deeper",  a weekend seminar to be held in the beautiful Christian Valley.  This is the first time we will combining the intensity of this ministry weekend with the tranquility of camping on the LeBlanc's beautiful property.  Believing that a fresh spiritual fire is coming to the Boundary Country, Gord and Jan are preparing to move there in the fall of this year and are trusting to meet some of their new neighbours, as a bonus!




By the way, it is a beautiful 1/1/2 hour  beautiful drive from Kelowna and much shorter drive from  Osoyoos, Grand Forks, Midway, Bridesville,  and  Rock Creek - all are welcome!

On wrinkles: I am getting very comfortable with the ever increasing lines on my face. Like circles on the core of a tree, they not only reveal the number of years I have lived, but the intensity with which I have lived them. Deeply etched smile lines remind me that love and laughter have been a huge part of my life. I would like to think that the deep ridge between my eyes is from years of squinting in the sun, but alas, I admit, I have also been a worrier! I do wonder why so many in Hollywood go to such great extremes to erase such a canvas of memories!

God is on the Move in Ghana!

Ghana had been on my heart since my first visit in 2009, and I was pleased to receive an invitation from Rick and Donna Whitcomb to return to Ghana in January of 2010. I was also looking forward to meeting Prince, a handsome young 11 year old who we have recently introduced into our family. I was excited to bring with me my grandson’s very special soccer ball as well as an Olympic ‘Believe’ t-shirt and cap – some simple gifts for this young man who has had so much to overcome in his short lifetime.
