It was October 24th, 2017 and Gord and I were on the last leg of a four-week ministry tour of New Zealand, Australia and Tasmania. The schedule had been very hectic and I was feeling quite depleted and in need of some 'alone time' with Jesus.  I poured myself a coffee, plumped up some cushions on the  sofa and began to review our ministry time "down under'.  So many leaders passionate for more of Jesus, so much prophetic, so many healed, incredible times of extended worship, and yet most prominent in my thoughts were those who were not healed or touched.  My thoughts went from there to others I was praying for back home, fully believing for a miracle and yet seeing little movement.  It's interesting how quickly one can slide down the slippery slope of unbelief when we stop taking our thoughts  captive.  I thought about the ground being lost to addictions, to perversions, to greed,  to hatred, to violence, and I must have spoken out loud t...

Mathew 10:8 And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'  8 "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. Many awesome signs and wonders are  taking place in gatherings in South Korea this week!  While in absolute awe of what Holy Spirit is orchestrating in this nation, at the same time I am saddened that many believers in the West have not yet embraced the anointing available to them, to heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead (spiritually, emotionally or physically) and do miracles with signs and wonders following. 

By  Bill Johnson   The reason God didn’t take you take you to be with Him when you were born again is because you have the divine assignment to invade the impossible. The reality of the Christian life is measured by the impact on the impossible. Much of what we give God credit for can be done by the Kawanis Club. I’m don’t mean God is not involved, I’m just saying all it is doing is tapping into human talent to accomplish what mankind can accomplish.

My wife and children and I were blessed to sit in a series of services led by Gord across a few days. We studied Holy Spirit and biblical truths about the Trinity. We learned about healing and how God moves. On the last night we had a healing service and one of the things we prayed for was shoulder injuries. I had almost forgotten that I had a shoulder injury and couldn’t lift my arm above my head. It was my new normal. I prayed that night and allowed Gord to pray over me and I was healed. My arm moves free and has allowed me to do so many things that I didn’t even realize I couldn’t do. I lead worship at our church and the next Sunday I just stood there in front, crying with my arms lifted to God. I didn’t realize that I couldn’t raise my arms to God. He set me free and I will hold them high in his name.

On the day of Pentecost, seven weeks after the resurrection of Jesus, Holy Spirit was poured out upon those followers of Jesus who had gathered together in Jerusalem. What happened on the first Pentecost continues to happen to Christians throughout the world today, though usually not in such a dramatic fashion. However, as we approach the end of an age, we are seeing and hearing more and more outpourings! According to Acts 2, when the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Certain physical challenges seem to ‘run’ in our family.   Eczema, allergies & other skin issues show up on what seems to be a regular basis.   And until this week, I have thought of them as ‘minor health issues‘ -   non life threatening and easily treatable.   I put them in the   same category as a headache or small wound....No need to pray, just pay - for the latest over the counter medication!

For those of you who never knew an earthly father's loving embrace, take heart and be open to what is coming. Because this is the reason Jesus came.  THE REVELATION OF THE FATHER  is the main thing Jesus came to reveal. I don't think one person in a hundred reads or preaches the following verse correctly. When Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life,"  most of us read this like it was a moment when Jesus was clarifying who He was: "ok, listen up! I, Jesus, am the way, the truth and the life..."  and we completely miss the point. His discourse does not end there. Read the rest of the sentence. He completes the quote by saying ... 

South Korea Jan and I had just completed a week of teaching at the Youth with a Mission Base (University of the Nations) in Kona Hawaii. We decided to take a walk along the beautiful white sand of the nearby beach. After a good brisk walk we  sat and relaxed for a while on the warm powder-like sand, watching wave after wave of sparkling lights from the sun dancing on the water. As I sat there, I heard the Lord speak to me. He said, “I am closing the doors of Kona for a season.”

Several years ago, I was teaching at the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii.  Jan was with me and one night while we were walking the beach, I heard the still small voice of the Lord speak to me.  "I am closing the door to Hawaii and opening the doors to Korea!"  I shared this with Jan, who was sure I hadn't heard correctly (lol), however within 1/2 hour we were back at the base in time to hear at knock at our door.   A young Korean woman stood there and delivered a message that we clearly understood, "I would like to invite you to Korea to teach!"

It wasn't until I began itinerating that I became aware of how many couples are unable to have children of their own.   Many of these couples have been trying for years, and some have become settled in their hearts and are now the happy parents of adopted children.
