Recently I have been studying the account of Elijah, who declared there would be no dew or rain for the next few years. (Reference 1 st Kings Chapter 17)  As the prophesied drought began, the Lord guided Elijah to the Kerith Valley and provided a brook for water and ravens to bring food to him morning and evening.   Temporary provision was available for Elijah in this season of drought. Asia – a great place to see healings and be healed!  I left for China and S. Korea emotionally and physically drained and wondering if my decision to go was a wise one.  Sadly, we had just buried my father and I found myself not only grieving but also battling severe vertigo.  The 12 hour flight to Beijing allowed me uninterrupted time to reflect on the life and loss of my earthly father, and also pray for stamina to handle the hectic schedule of the next three weeks! How could I have forgotten that His strength is made perfect in my weakness? But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.  The New International Version. 2011 (2 Co 12:9)
